Pastor Mike Thompson

Pastor Mike Thompson is one of our speaking Pastors at Gospel Community Church. Pastor Mike was born and raised in Southern California. He was born in San Diego, but grew up in San Bernardino. He began serving in Ministry in 2004 where he served as a Jr High discipleship leader and Bible teacher on Sunday nights. He was then appointed and served as a Student Pastor, and Young Adults Pastor for 13 years until he became an Associate Pastor as well as a Campus Pastor of another Church. He was married to his beautiful wife Jannae in April of 2007. Between serving as a Pastor and Jannae serving as a Church Administrator, the Thompsons were blessed with 3 children and they make family one of their first priorities after following Jesus. They both have a passion & desire to see people discover their God given gifts and then come alive in their calling. They’ve committed their lives to furthering the Kingdom of God by sharing the Gospel of Christ and making Disciples. They both felt a stirring to start a church in 2020 and God opened the doors to start in little’ol Law’s Coffee Shop in Oak Glen. After a few amazing months, GCC outgrew Law’s and moved to the Oak Glen Schoolhouse Park for the Summer months of 2021. God opened the doors for another amazing Oak Glen location and GCC met at Luther Glen Camp for a little over a year. Gospel Community outgrew Luther Glen and started meeting at Arrowhead Christian Academy in January 2023.
